Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data this website processes, for what purpose and for how long. It is written from how the site actually works, not from a generic template.
Data controller
[PENDING: legal name], registered at [PENDING: address], contact e-mail info@hqceurope.com. [PENDING: state the data protection officer, if there is one.]
What data is collected
- Website chat: your name, e-mail address and the content of the messages you write.
- Technical data linked to that conversation: IP address and browser, kept to prevent abuse of the form.
- E-mail and telephone: if you write or call us, we process the data you choose to give us.
- Browsing the site does NOT create profiles: there is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.
What it is used for
Solely to handle and answer your enquiry. It is not used to send you marketing you did not ask for, nor shared with third parties for advertising.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent when you contact us and, where the enquiry concerns a possible contract, on pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
How long it is kept
Chat conversations are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and its follow-up. [PENDING: set a specific period, for example 12 or 24 months, and enforce it with automatic deletion.]
Who else can access the data
- The hosting provider for the site and the application server.
- Pusher, the service that carries chat messages in real time. Messages travel through its infrastructure.
- The e-mail provider used to notify the team of a new enquiry.
There are no other recipients. Data is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, and object to or restrict processing, as well as request portability. To exercise them, write to info@hqceurope.com stating which right you wish to exercise. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in your country.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to a chat conversation requires a unique credential stored in your browser; on our systems it is stored hashed, so nobody can read other people’s conversations.
